What is a tiny whoop?
A tiny whoop is a small FPV drone, usually 65–85 mm across and well under 250 g, with ducts around each propeller. You fly it through live video in goggles, as if you were sitting in the cockpit. The ducts make it gentle enough to fly indoors.
Is a tiny whoop safe to fly at home?
It is the safest kind of FPV quad: light, slow enough to control in a room, with guarded props that bounce off walls and furniture. Still keep it away from faces, pets and anything fragile, and fly where the people around you are happy with it.
Do I need a licence to fly a tiny whoop in India?
Usually not for hobby flying. Under India's Drone Rules 2021, nano drones (up to 250 g) do not need a Remote Pilot Certificate. Airspace zones, privacy and local or society rules still apply, and this is not legal advice; check Digital Sky for the current rules before flying outdoors.
What do I need to start flying FPV?
A whoop (a ready-to-fly kit, a bind-and-fly quad or a parts build), a radio to control it, FPV goggles, and a few batteries with a charger. A complete kit with radio and goggles is roughly ₹20,000–25,000. If you already own a radio and goggles, a whoop parts build costs well under ₹10,000.
How long does a tiny whoop fly on one battery?
About three to five minutes on a 1S pack, depending on the build and how hard you fly. That is why most pilots keep four to six packs charged for a session.
Can I try FPV before buying anything?
